What is health & wellness coaching?
Maybe not what you expect. It’s not about your coach telling you what you’re doing wrong or what you "should" do. It’s not just about food and exercise. Instead, health & wellness coaching is a collaborative and creative process that takes into account what matters most to you.
As your coach, I’ll be your champion, guide, resource, and accountability partner. I’ll ask questions to inspire your self-discovery and clarify your unique wellness vision, and together we will co-create personalized goals, actions steps, and strategies. Perhaps most important, I will listen deeply to what’s important to you. You will get the support you need to successfully turn your vision into reality, one step at a time.
There is no pushing, judgment, guilt, or failure. This is about experimentation and discovery of what works to help you feel your best and realize your desired outcomes.
If you have a treatment plan from your doctor or provider, I’ll help you understand and take action on your plan, at a pace that feels right for you. I’m also trained to partner with functional medicine providers and support their treatment plans.
Areas for coaching could include food, sugar, movement, energy, sleep, stress reduction, relaxation, health conditions and challenges, self-compassion, or other topics related to your health and wellness.
